Fabian Barrantes has established himself as a powerhouse of brand development in the tobacco and sunglasses industry & now would like to share his passion for art, photography & design.

Fabian was born in Bogota, Colombia, but migrated to Miami at a young age, he graduated as an Art Major from the Miami University of Art & Design in South Florida with specialty skills in Marketing, Brand Development, Graphic Design, Photography, Video Editing, and Computer Animation and is very profound in Music Production & Music Editing. Fabian still lives and constantly creates in downtown Miami. 

Since his younger days of scribbling/painting all over his room and also the Miami streets that later will be the most famous neighborhood called Wynwood the art district that made graffiti famous in south florida he ran with some of the most infamous graffiti artist known to Miami streets. 

You could tell he was becoming a talented individual that just could not identify himself with just one art medium or one style, there was just a lot of passion for designing & brand development that would develop with his corporate connections, Fabian’s design and painting work has been shown in galleries, school institutions and in many retail shops as specialty products through the world. His latest art work was the subject of a major charity auction at the Gala Night in the Festival of Tobacco in Santiago, Dominican Republic in 2020 organized by Pro Cigar and his packaging was distributed for thousands of visiting patrons on their white gala night one of the countries best yearly event; it received very high praise and his featured painting raised $5,600 for the organizations children’s charity, something that is very dear to him to help and give to some that are mostly in need in this world. Fabian has traveled to many European countries and has gathered technics and inspirations from many cultures and renaissance masters. Fabian Barrantes: There is no better teacher than observing and experiencing the world and its many art forms from music, arts and all the many cultures through the world. Fabian is widely known for his brand development and designs in the tobacco industry making him one of the most sought out designers of products and developing international brands for many multi-international companies, previously focusing on his marketing of international branding he has newly developed and focused on his acrylic paintings and photography for many commission based clients who have sought out his talents and has grown a big following of his direction and style.

Fabian has received numerous awards and many of the products that he developed have become some of the top brands of the world. Notably, Fabians designs have also received the highest honors and have become the top cigars of the world by “Cigar Aficionado Magazine” and “Cigar journal” two of the highest awards in the industry. Fabian was 1st introduced to the tobacco industry by a family friend and has excelled in the industry to become a marketing and brand developer powerhouse. Fabian now sits as the creative director for one of the industries leading accessories company and sunglasses maker in the United States. Next step is to grow his passion of painting and designing for the general public to acquire his limited edition pieces.

Artist Statement: 

I paint, create, and produce music to have an artistic release for myself. It is said that these techniques were developed and programed in our subconscious in order to relax our creative mind; they also have been used over hundreds of years as positive stress relievers. Relief by art and creating has been embedded in our DNA even if most of us do not know it. So through the process of art development, I connect with talented individuals that have inspired me, taught me and supported my art through my professional career. Thankfully, my creations identify with individuals who perhaps also need an escape from reality or view reality as I do. Some of us will see the beauty of paint mixing together to make shapes and gradients and objects that you would see in your dreams. My work is a way for me to view concepts and shapes that flow out of my mind into a medium that works for me at the moment. I definitely say my artwork is inspired by the world and it’s total beauty.

• “Beauty” Beauty is commonly described as a feature of objects that makes these objects pleasurable to perceive. Such objects include landscapes, sunsets, humans and works of art. Beauty, together with art and taste, is the main subject of aesthetics, one of the major branches of philosophy.
